Diet is very important for a flu patient. While fever is present, neither protein nor fat should be eaten. Going on a liquid juice diet for one or two days has proved to be very beneficial. Another letter we received from a nurse reads:

In this particular case, diluted whey concentrate (Molkosan) was used to dab on the rash. Women who are breast-feeding and would like to reduce their milk supply may do so by rubbing the breasts with lavage tincture and taking an infusion of lovage, this herb being excellent for the purpose.
